Sheikh Wael Ibrahim

Sheikh Wael Ibrahim was born in Alexandria, Egypt, and later moved to Hong Kong in his early adult years. While he holds a diploma in commerce and business administration, his life took a turn following personal struggle and introspection. After witnessing the harm caused by addiction, he decided to dedicate himself to spiritual growth and helping others overcome challenges.

Professionally, he is a certified Master Life Coach, John Maxwell Certified Speaker, and has served as a student counsellor at the Australian Islamic College. He founded Aware Academy, Serving Islam Team – Hong Kong, and Connect Institute, all platforms aimed at helping people — especially youth — recover from addiction (especially pornography), build better habits, and grow personally and spiritually. He has delivered workshops, seminars, and coaching sessions around the world.

In his Islamic work and preaching, Sheikh Wael combines motivational methods with religious and psychological insights. He uses his own journey as a point of relatability, emphasizing transformation through awareness, discipline, seeking knowledge, repentance, and spiritual healing. His messages are practical, compassionate, and focused on helping people regain control over their lives in line with Islamic values.
