Dr. Haifaa Younis

Dr. Haifaa Younis is a U.S.-based obstetrician and gynecologist of Iraqi origin who brings together her medical expertise and deep passion for Islamic teachings. She is American Board Certified in OB-GYN, and alongside practicing medicine, she pursued Islamic studies with dedication—studying under scholars in the U.S., attending the Mecca Institute of Islamic Studies in Jeddah, memorizing the Qur’an at Al-Huda Qur’an Memorization School, and continually learning in areas like fiqh, hadith, aqidah, and purification of the heart (tazkiyah).

She is the Founder and Chairwoman of Jannah Institute, based in St. Louis, Missouri. Through the Institute she teaches courses and seminars—both online and offline—focused on thematic commentaries of Qur’anic chapters, spiritual growth, and applying Islamic teachings to daily life. She also offers retreats and workshops that combine inner spiritual renewal with practical expressions of faith. Her reach is global, with many Muslim women from various countries participating in her programs.
